## We're rethinking **how software connects**

We started Orbital because we were frustrated by how hard it is to connect software.

Teams spend months hard-wiring integrations, and years maintaining them when things change. Integration tooling seemed to shift the work, but didn't remove it

At the same time, formats like OpenAPI, GraphQL and Protobuf were making systems machine-readable.

We started asking: **if machines can understand what systems do, why can’t they work out how to connect them?**

That question became **Taxi**, our open-source ontology language and query engine, and later **Orbital**, the platform for running it at scale.

With AI accelerating software change, and agents needing to navigate the enterprise, on-demand integration matters more than ever.
